“Sue Me Over Assassination Allegation” – Senator Natasha Dares Senate President Akpabio
Suspended Senator representing Kogi Central, Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, has thrown a bold challenge to Senate President Godswill Akpabio, urging him to take her to court over her explosive claims that he masterminded a plot to recall and assassinate her.
In an interview on Channels Television’s Politics Today, Senator Natasha doubled down on her allegations, accusing Akpabio of enlisting Kogi State Governor, Usman Ododo, to carry out both her removal from office and a plan to end her life.
According to Natasha, Governor Ododo pushed back on the idea, reportedly telling Akpabio that carrying out such actions would be tough because “the masses are with her.”
She further alleged that Akpabio didn’t stop there. “But Akpabio was not satisfied; he then called for Yahaya Bello. It was Senator Asuquo who drove Yahaya Bello to the Hiltons. I was informed,” she stated.
Natasha claimed the meeting that followed had two main goals: to initiate a recall process and to plan her assassination. “Of course, money changed hands that day,” she said, adding, “Akpabio told Yahaya Bello to kill me.”
Reacting to reports that Akpabio is considering suing her for defamation, Natasha was undeterred. “I am hearing that the Senate President wants to sue me for that. I will tell him to go ahead. We will meet and cross that bridge,” she declared.
