Woman dead body without eyes found in Kwara community

The body of an unidentified female teenager was reportedly discovered on Modinat Street in the Fomo Babalaje community, located in the Adabbiyah area of Ilorin West LGA, Kwara State.

According to reports from City & Crime, the body was found on Monday morning. A resident of the area, who confirmed the incident, revealed that the victim’s eyes had been removed, raising suspicions of a possible ritual killing.

Abdulqodir Abdulmumeen, the community chairman, expressed shock and concern over the incident.

He explained, “Some community members found her body in the gutter with her eyes removed. It appears she was killed for ritual purposes and then dumped here. We have reported the case to the Oloje police station.”

When contacted, the state police spokesperson, DSP Toun Ejire-Adeyemi, promised to gather more information but had not responded as of the time the report was filed.
