Peter Obi: No Serious Leader Will Go And Rest With The Way Things Are In Nigeria
The 2023 presidential candidate under the labour party, Peter Gregory Obi seems to have tackled the president-elect, Bola Ahmed Tinubu after he had travelled out of the country to rest shortly after the general elections in the country, where he pointed out that no serious leader would make such a move.
Peter Obi, according to Sahara Reporters made this statement when he visited the Muslim community in Awka to felicitate with them on the celebration of Eid el-Fitri, where he stressed that considering the way things are going in the country, a serious leader will not go away to rest.
The former governor of Anambra state noted that on his part, he was not going to rest, but will continue to be available to show his support in his vet best.
In his words…”People who want to rest can go and rest. For me, I’m not resting. No serious leader will go and rest in Nigeria with the way things are today. We will continue to visit as many people as we can, and also support them in the best way we can”
Recall that Bola Ahmed Tinubu had landed the country today, following his weeks of being away from the country to rest, after the long campaigns for his presidential bid.
