Celestial Church Global Headquarters Mourns Passing of Chief Prophet
The Celestial Church of Christ (CCC) is grieving the sudden loss of Assistant Venerable Johnson Olajuwon, popularly known as Prophet “JJ,” who served as the lead prophet (Woleader) at the church’s international headquarters in Ketu, Lagos.
Prophet JJ passed away on January 1, 2025, in what has been described as a shocking and tragic development. His death was confirmed through reports from Celestial Reality Check.
The esteemed cleric was actively involved in the church’s activities leading up to his demise. He played a prominent role during the 2024 Imeko Christmas Convocation, an annual global gathering of CCC members. At the event, he was notably present at the Book Exhibition, where his wife showcased her publications, and he also took on the honorable role of reading the second Bible lesson during the Crossover service—an indication of his high regard within the church.
Despite reports of a minor health issue during the convocation, his passing has left many within the CCC community deeply shocked and saddened, as he was a respected and well-loved figure.
