Breaking: Game Show Icon Chuck Woolery Passes Away at 83
Chuck Woolery, the iconic game show host best known for “The Love Connection,” has passed away at the age of 83. His death was announced by his podcast co-host, Dr. Mark Young, who shared his sorrow on social media, saying, “Life will not be the same without him. RIP brother.”
According to reports, Woolery was at his home in Texas when he began feeling unwell and decided to rest. Shortly after, he experienced difficulty breathing. Emergency responders were called, but Woolery passed away before reaching the hospital.
Woolery’s career spanned decades, beginning as the original host of Wheel of Fortune from 1975 to 1981. He gained further fame hosting Love Connection from 1983 to 1994. He also hosted other notable programs, including Scrabble, The Dating Game, and Greed, among others. In more recent years, he co-hosted the podcast Blunt Force Truth with Dr. Young.
Woolery’s contributions to television and his engaging presence made him a beloved figure in the entertainment industry, leaving behind a legacy cherished by fans and colleagues alike.
