‘ Soso’ by Omah Lay Takes Over Nigerian Radio Waves in 2023

As per Turntable Charts analysis, Omah Lay’s “Soso” emerges as the most-played track on Nigerian radio airwaves.

Soso was released in 2022 on Omah Lay’s Boy Alone album. Since its release, the song has garnered 1.74 billion impressions. Following closely behind is the remix of Spyro’s Who’s Your Guy featuring Tiwa Savage, which amassed 1.53 billion impressions. Asake’s chart-topper Lonely At the Top secures the third spot with 1.46 billion impressions, while Victony & Tempoe’s Soweto claims fourth place with 1.43 billion impressions. Davido’s track Feel secures the fifth position with 1.42 billion impressions. Notably, Davido stands out as the sole artist with two entries in the top 10, with his Grammy-nominated single Unavailable featuring Musa Keys ranking at No. 8, amassing 1.25 billion impressions.

Omah Lay also took the fourth position as the most-streamed artist of 2023. He garnered 301 million streams. In May 2023 Omah Lay remixed his electrifying track Soso. This time, the talented artist from KeyQaad Records collaborated with the renowned Puerto Rican singer, songwriter, and rapper, Ozuna, to add his vocal prowess to the mix.

Boy Alone album has 14 tracks and features international collaborations such as Aitch, Justin Beiber, Ozuna, and Tay Iwar.
