Davido Reveals Further Details of His N300 Million Donation to 427 Orphanages
In the midst of Nigeria’s economic downturn, Davido announced on February 21, 2024, his commitment to donating 300 million naira to orphanages across the country.
Two days later, on February 23, 2024, Davido, on behalf of the David Adeleke Foundation, released a statement showing the breakdown of his 300 million naira donation to support orphanages across Nigeria. The renowned musician and philanthropist released a statement detailing the foundation’s commitment to aiding vulnerable children in need.
The statement revealed that the donation will benefit a total of 427 orphanages spanning all states in Nigeria. With a meticulous approach, the foundation identified 13,936 eligible children for assistance, while 1,688 were deemed ineligible for support. Each eligible child is set to receive an average disbursement of 19,733 naira from the allocated funds.
