“Organisers Confirm Details for Highly-Anticipated Friendly Match between Nigeria’s Super Eagles and Argentina”

The match will be played in the United States of America on Tuesday, March 26, 2024, at the Coliseum in Los Angeles at the United States of America. The match was initially scheduled to be held in China, but according to reports the venue was cancelled following a row between Argentina superstar, Lionel Messi and Chinese soccer authorities.

The Super Eagles will use the friendly to prepare for their 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against South Africa and the Benin Republic in June. Argentina will also face El Salvador in another friendly in March.

The last time the Super Eagles faced Argentina was at the Russia 2018 World Cup with the South Americans winning the game 2-1 in the team’s final group match.
