Tinubu: “Jesus Christ Triumphed Over Death, So Shall Our Country Triumph Over Every Challenge”

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to tackling Nigeria’s numerous challenges, including insecurity and economic hardship. His assurance came through a heartfelt Good Friday message shared via The Cable’s official X account.
Recognizing the struggles many Nigerians are currently facing, President Tinubu acknowledged the toll of insecurity and inflation on the populace. However, he stressed that his government is fully aware of these difficulties and is working tirelessly to improve the situation. He specifically mentioned recent terrorist incidents, assuring the public that security agencies have been directed to intensify efforts to protect lives and property.
In a message filled with symbolism and faith, Tinubu likened the nation’s struggles to the story of Jesus Christ’s death and resurrection. “Just as Jesus Christ overcame death and rose again,” he declared, “Nigeria will also overcome its current challenges and emerge stronger.”
The President called on Nigerians to remain hopeful and united, especially during the Easter season—a time that symbolizes renewal, sacrifice, and eventual triumph. He urged citizens to see Easter as a reminder that no matter how dark the moment, victory is possible through perseverance and shared commitment.
“Jesus Christ triumphed over death, so shall our country triumph over every challenge we face,” Tinubu said, reinforcing his message of hope and national resilience.
At a time when many are seeking direction and reassurance, the President’s message aims to inspire confidence in the nation’s future and the determination of his leadership to guide Nigeria toward recovery and progress.
