Natasha’s Husband Urges Akpabio to Treat His Wife with Respect

The ongoing dispute between Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan and Senate President Godswill Akpabio has taken a new turn, as her husband, Chief Emmanuel Uduaghan, has called on Akpabio to treat his wife with the respect and dignity she deserves.
In a statement on Saturday, Uduaghan, the Alema of Warri Kingdom, said he initially chose to remain silent but felt compelled to speak due to recent developments.
“I would never trade her for anything, as she is the greatest joy of my life,” he declared.
He emphasized that Natasha was duly elected by her people and remains committed to serving her constituents and the nation. Describing her as a devoted wife and a truthful person, he revealed that she had confided in him about her interactions with Akpabio, whom he considers a family friend.
Uduaghan explained that he had personally met with Akpabio to seek an amicable resolution and ensure mutual respect. However, despite their agreement, Natasha continues to express concerns about harassment from the Senate President.
Reaffirming his trust in his wife and their marriage, he urged Akpabio and the Senate to treat her with the respect she deserves while legal proceedings address the matter.
