JUST IN: Suspected Poll Snatcher Shot Dead In Kebbi State

A suspected poll field snatcher has been shot useless by troopers on patrol at Bajida polling unit 001, Fakai Native Authorities Space of Kebbi South.
The yet-to-be-identified man was reportedly shot useless whereas he was making an attempt to grab a poll field from officers of the INEC throughout the ongoing supplementary elections within the state.
In keeping with eyewitnesses within the space, the deceased was a member of the proscribed Yansakai, a neighborhood volunteer vigilante group.
He was stated to have intruded into the polling unit claiming to be a safety agent.
He was alleged to have tried to grab a gun from a soldier on the polling unit when he was shot.
“He and his group rushed to the polling unit attempting to grab the poll field as INEC officers have been transferring the poll field to the collation centre.
“Efforts to cease him by folks on the polling unit failed and as he struggled to gather the gun from a soldier he was shot by one other soldier,” an eyewitness stated.
