NewsBREAKING: Former Kogi Governor Yahaya Bello Sentenced to Kuje Prison Until 2025 Published 4 months agoon December 10, 2024By Tao Court Orders Ex-Kogi Governor Yahaya Bello Remanded in Kuje Prison Over N110 Billion Fraud Case: A Federal Capital Territory High Court has ruled that former Kogi State Governor Yahaya Bello be remanded in Kuje correctional centre until January 29, 2025.The decision follows the court’s rejection of Bello’s bail application, citing its premature filing before his court appearance or custody.Bello, along with two co-defendants, faces allegations from the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) involving N110 billion in money laundering.
