Ossai Ovie Success Criticizes Ini Edo for Attending Party Shortly After Father’s Burial
Ossai Ovie Success, a media aide to the Governor of Delta State, has called out Nollywood actress Ini Edo for attending a birthday party in Ghana just a day after burying her father.
The actress laid her father, Elder Edo Jonathan Ekim, to rest in Akwa Ibom on Friday, with prominent Nollywood stars like Rita Dominic, Ruth Kadiri, Nancy Isime, and Desmond Elliot in attendance.
However, less than 24 hours after the burial, videos emerged showing Ini Edo at a lavish birthday celebration in Accra, Ghana.
Reacting on Facebook, Ossai Ovie Success condemned her actions as insensitive and disrespectful, stating that mourning goes beyond financial obligations and requires spending time with family to honor the deceased properly.
His remarks have sparked mixed reactions online, with some defending Ini Edo’s choices while others agree with his stance on cultural mourning traditions.
