Ijayegbemi Reveals How He Used a Charm to Defend Himself After Being Slapped on Movie Set

Popular Yoruba actor Monsuru Ijayegbemi has shared a tense experience from a movie set where he and fellow actor Mr. Latin were confronted by an aggressive group.
Speaking in an interview on Feelrightnews YouTube channel, Ijayegbemi revealed that while filming, a man approached him and Mr. Latin and suddenly slapped him without provocation. In response, he went to his car and retrieved a charm to intimidate the attacker and his group.
“I was on set with Mr. Latin, whom I was managing at the time, when some guys started insulting him. I stepped in to ask why, but they turned on me as well. Then, one of them slapped me. To scare them off, I went to my car and brought out a charm. Thankfully, a villager intervened, warning them not to fight us, and they backed off,” he recounted.
The actor clarified that the charm was purely for intimidation, and the situation was resolved without further conflict.
