Bukky Wright Reveals Why Some Men Are Afraid to Date Her
Veteran Yoruba actress Bukky Wright has opened up about the challenges she faces in relationships, revealing that some men are hesitant to approach her because of her status as an actress.
Speaking in an interview on Channels Television, Bukky Wright explained that being in the spotlight can impact an actress’s personal life, as many men feel intimidated by their fame.
“To be honest, being a popular actress can affect one’s marriage because the right men don’t come to actresses most of the time. Some men aren’t brave enough to toast me and are scared of dating me because I’m an actress. Some of the men who have the courage to approach actresses only have the intention of getting popularity through the actresses,” she stated.
She emphasized that while some men admire actresses, only a few are genuinely interested in them for who they are rather than for the fame they bring.
