Angry Youths Loot Seyi Tinubu’s Ramadan Palliatives in Gombe (Video)
A group of aggrieved youths in Gombe State looted a truck filled with Ramadan palliatives reportedly sent by Seyi Tinubu, son of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Seyi Tinubu has been visiting northern states during Ramadan, sharing Iftar with residents and political leaders while launching feeding programs for the less privileged. However, his initiative has sparked mixed reactions online—some appreciating the effort, while others criticize it as insufficient for addressing the region’s deeper socio-economic challenges.
In a viral video, the youths were seen raiding a stationary truck, throwing cartons of food supplies—including rice, sugar, oil, salt, and pasta—to people on the ground, who quickly grabbed the items and ran away.
Reports indicate that two trucks carrying 3,500 cartons of food items were allocated to Gombe. While one was successfully distributed, the second was seized and looted by the angry crowd.
