Asake’s Family Demands ₦50M House For Father, Dna Test For Alleged 11-Year-Old Daughter

The family of popular Nigerian singer Asake has made fresh demands, urging him to purchase a ₦40 million to ₦50 million house for his father, Fatai Odunsi, following recent accusations of abandonment.

This comes after Asake’s father publicly claimed that he had not seen his son since 2022, when his health began to decline.

However, the issue escalated on Saturday, with a female family representative—believed to be Asake’s paternal aunt—stating in a viral video that it was time for Asake to take full responsibility for his father.

“I’m begging you, Asake; you’ll grow old one day, so please take care of your father. Even if Nigerians contributed ₦10 billion to Mr. Odunsi, Asake’s ₦1 million would make him happier than he is today,” she said.

She suggested that Asake buy a house in Isale Eko worth ₦50 million so that his father could live off the rental income if he didn’t want to provide financial support directly.

Alleged 11-Year-Old Daughter, Zeenat

The family also accused Asake of abandoning an alleged 11-year-old daughter, Zeenat, whose mother has reportedly been living with Asake’s father.

“This is the woman who gave birth to his 11-year-old daughter, Zeenat, whom his father has been caring for. Zeenat’s mother is here, and since you’re doubting her paternity, she is ready for a DNA test to confirm the truth,” the family stated.

They urged Asake to take responsibility for the child, stating that her mother and family are willing to conduct a DNA test at any location he chooses.
