BREAKING NEWS: Peter Obi Polls 331,163 High Votes To Beat Atiku And Tinubu In Edo State
The Labour Party (LP) Presidential candidate, Peter Obi has reportedly been declared the winner of the presidential election in Edo State. According to the report published by Punch, Peter Obi polled a total of 331,163 votes to win the state. The Presidential candidate of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu scored a total of 144,471 votes while his counterpart in the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), got 89,585 votes. .
LP won the presidential election in 12 local government areas while APC won in 6. Nigerians have taken to social media shortly after the declaration in the state to share their opinions on the win.
BREAKING NEWS: Peter Obi Defeats Tinubu In Port Harcourt City Rivers State With 163, 033 Total Vote
While reacting to the win, a commenter wrote, “Peter Obi, who has no structure anywhere in Nigeria has dazed Governor Obaseki with an emphatic victory.”
Another wrote, “Well done Edo State. I believe INEC did well in this election. Nigerians with their drama.”
