Ronaldo should be signed to Chelsea as substitute for Broja
Chelsea is in need of a new striker after losing the backup Armando Broja to injury in their friendly match against Premier League side Aston Villa.
The Chelsea academy graduate is ruled out for 6-7 months due to ACL, which means he won’t be in action for the rest of the season. The London side will need a backup striker as they are only left with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
Chelsea has been struggling to get goals since the arrival of Graham Potter, and they need a new kind of striker, which Ronaldo can offer.
Here are the reasons why Chelsea should sign Ronaldo as a replacement for Broja.
1 Free Transfer
The former Manchester United star is a free agent and would be a smart deal for the Blues.
2 Temporary replacements before the summer
Ronaldo can come in as a short-time replacement for Broja before Chelsea go all out in the summer for a top and young striker. Offering Ronaldo a 6months deal would be a good deal for both the club and the player.
3 Experience
Aside from not being at his optimum best, Ronaldo will offer his vast experience in the game, and would be of help to the young players at the club.
