Balogun Olamilekan aka Balloranking
Balogun Olamilekan, professionally known as Balloranking, is a Nigerian singer, songwriter, and record producer born on November 20, 2000, in Surulere, Lagos State, Nigeria. He grew up in the Coker neighborhood and developed an early passion for music influenced by his father, who was a choir conductor.
Balloranking began music professionally as a teenager while working as a graphic designer. His early exposure to instruments and church music helped shape his sound. He later signed with Dvpper Music and gradually rose to prominence with his unique blend of Afrobeats, street-hop, and Afro-fusion.
He gained attention with hit songs like βTime No Deyβ, βNever Stop Tryingβ, and his EP Zero Panic. His breakthrough came with the projects Trench Kid, Ghetto Gospel, and Ghetto Vibrations, which showcased his storytelling, street-inspired lyrics, and melodic delivery.
Known for portraying real-life struggles, grit, and ambition, Balloranking has collaborated with notable Nigerian artists including Bella Shmurda, Shallipopi, Odumodublvck and Lyta.
He continues to rise as one of the new-wave voices shaping street music and Afro-fusion in Nigeria.
