Crown Uzama aka Shallipopi
Crown Uzama, professionally known as Shallipopi, is a Nigerian singer, rapper, and songwriter born on April 12, 2000, in Benin City, Edo State, Nigeria. He grew up surrounded by Edo culture and began making music at a young age, sharing freestyles and comedic content on social media before rising to mainstream fame.
Shallipopi gained national attention in 2023 with the viral hit Elon Musk, a street-pop anthem that dominated streaming charts and established him as one of the fresh voices redefining Afrobeats and street-hop. His unique slang, humor, and delivery quickly captured a loyal fanbase known as the βPlutomanias.β
He later founded his own record label, Plutomania Records, signing artists like Zerry DL while continuing his own upward climb.
