Asari Dokubo Claims His Men Entered Bello Turji’s Stronghold

Former militant leader Asari Dokubo has claimed that members of his group were the first to enter the stronghold of notorious terrorist kingpin Bello Turji in more than 14 years.
Dokubo made the claim in a video shared by Critics News, stating that the area had remained inaccessible for over a decade before his men reportedly penetrated it.
“I am also looking for Bello Turji. My people were the first to enter Bello Turji’s stronghold in over 14 years. Nobody has stepped there. It was my men who entered the stronghold,” Dokubo said in the video.
His remarks come amid ongoing security challenges in parts of Northern Nigeria, where Turji has been linked to repeated attacks, kidnappings, and other violent crimes.
There has been no official confirmation from security agencies regarding Dokubo’s claims as of the time of this report.
