The Governor of Abia State, Alex Otti, has voiced his support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s recent appointment of Bianca Ojukwu as one of the new ministers. During a Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting on Wednesday, President Tinubu appointed seven new ministers, including the former beauty queen Bianca Odumegwu-Ojukwu.
In a statement issued by his media aide, Ferdinand Ekeoma, Governor Otti referred to Ojukwu’s appointment as indicative of the President’s commitment to exploring new opportunities. He stressed that her role would greatly benefit the federal government in various sectors.
Otti stated, “Ambassador Bianca Ojukwu’s appointment is not only fitting but will also yield substantial advantages for the nation, particularly in foreign policy and diplomatic relations due to her experience and impressive track record in public service.”He pointed out that Ojukwu’s commitment to justice and good governance would be crucial in helping Nigeria address its current socio-political issues.
