Reactions Emerge as President Tinubu Limits Ministers’ Official Convoys to 3 Vehicles
Social media users have taken to their official X accounts to share their reactions to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s recent directive aimed at government officials, including Ministers, Ministers of State, and Heads of Federal Government Agencies.
According to a post shared by Bayo Onanuga on Thursday, President Tinubu has ordered that Ministers, Ministers of State, and Heads of Agencies are now limited to using only three vehicles in their official convoys.Bayo Onanuga, who serves as the President’s Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, explained that no extra vehicles will be allocated for their movements.
This decision was part of an effort to reduce the cost of running the government.In Onanuga’s words: “President Bola Tinubu has limited Ministers, Ministers of State, and Heads of Federal Agencies to a maximum of three vehicles in their official convoys. No additional vehicles will be provided for movement. This cost-saving measure was announced today in a statement signed by the President.”
