Otti: We Will Win Abia by Gaining the People’s Support – Orji Kalu

Senator Orji Uzor Kalu, a prominent figure in Abia politics and a member of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has expressed confidence that his party can regain control of the state from the Labour Party. In an interview with Channels Television, Kalu explained that the APC’s approach is to win over the people by addressing their concerns and running a democratic campaign, which he believes will lead to future electoral victories.

When questioned about the possibility of Governor Alex Otti joining the APC, Kalu mentioned that he had discussed Nigeria’s political landscape with Otti, but noted that the decision ultimately lies with the governor. “If he chooses to join the APC, the door is open for everyone,” Kalu said.

He made it clear, however, that the APC’s success does not hinge on Otti’s involvement.Kalu acknowledged that internal disagreements contributed to the APC’s loss in the recent Abia election, but he remains confident that with unity and hard work, the party can still succeed.

“We can win Abia State with or without Otti. If we appeal to the people, they will support us,” he said. Kalu also encouraged Otti to work diligently as governor, stressing that success in politics comes through commitment and hard work.
