Wizkid throws shade at Davido in new tweets, “We all know he’s wack! No Talent!”

The ongoing feud between Afrobeats stars Wizkid and Davido has resurfaced on social media. Wizkid recently took shots at Davido in a series of tweets, reigniting their long-standing rivalry.

As Wizkid prepares to release the first single from his upcoming album ‘Morayo,’ he’s been hosting release parties in cities like Paris and London. Despite his busy schedule, he found time to engage in some Twitter drama.

This latest clash appears to stem from a tweet by Tycoone, Davido’s creative director, on October 1st, 2024, which seemed to subtly criticize Wizkid by saying, “A certain Daddy should drop new music.”

Wizkid responded by retweeting Tycoone’s post and firing off a series of cryptic tweets. One tweet in particular, “Pussy boys dropping mids again! ❤️🦅”, was widely seen as a jab at Davido’s recent music release.

Wizkid also revived an old insult, referring to Davido as “Frogido,” a nod to previous insults about Davido’s vocal tone. He later made his intent clear, directly calling Davido “wack” and “not talented.”

With tensions between the two artists continuing to escalate, hopes for any collaboration or joint tour between the Afrobeats heavyweights seem increasingly unlikely.
