Presidential Poll: The last election is probably the worst election in this Country – Peter Obi

The Labour Party presidential candidate, Mr. Peter Gregory Obi, said that the last presidential election is probably the worst in this particular republic.

Peter Obi made the statement in an interview with Arise News during the Morning Show program when Dr. Reuben Abati asked him ‘how has it been’.

Peter Obi responded that it has not been easy and it is not expected to be easy since their mission is to change the old narratives that as kept Nigerians to where they are, ” so it is going to be difficult”…..Continue Reading

However, Peter Obi said,

“If you look at the last election, as you know, it is probably the worst election in this particular republic considering the 2022 electoral law which is meant to improve our overall election process and continued and consistent promises of the chairman of INEC that this is going to be the best thing that have ever happened to Nigeria

” You could see it in all the editorials, all the international newspapers, from financial times, to economist including Chatham House where even the Chairman was there they have questioned the rating of the country. And for me in particular, it’s one of the sadness, 63 years after Nigeria independent we can’t conduct simple election, despite all the promises.”

Peter Obi then said that they would fight all through the legal means to bring a new Nigeria.
