Omoniyi Temidayo Raphael aka Zlatan
Omoniyi Temidayo Raphael, known professionally as Zlatan or Zlatan Ibile, is a Nigerian rapper, singer, and songwriter born on December 19, 1994, in Ilorin, Kwara State, Nigeria. He hails from Ekiti State and holds a degree in Business Administration from Moshood Abiola Polytechnic.
Zlatan rose to fame after winning the Airtel One Mic talent show in 2014, but his major breakthrough came in 2018 with the hit single “Zanku (Legwork),” which launched a viral dance craze. He followed this with chart-topping collaborations like “Able God” with Chinko Ekun and Lil Kesh, “Osanle” with Davido, and “Bolanle” with IVD.
He is the founder of Zanku Records and has worked with top Nigerian artists including Burna Boy, Tiwa Savage, Naira Marley, and Olamide. Known for his street-hop sound and energetic performances, Zlatan remains one of the most influential voices in contemporary Afro-street culture.
