Stanley Omah Didia aka Omah Lay
Stanley Omah Didia, professionally known as Omah Lay, is a Nigerian singer, songwriter, and record producer born on May 19, 1997, in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria. He began his music journey as a teenage producer and songwriter before transitioning into a performing artist.
Omah Lay gained widespread attention in early 2020 with his debut EP Get Layd, which featured hit singles such as Bad Influence, You, and Lolo. His smooth blend of Afro-fusion, R&B, and soulful melodies set him apart and quickly made him one of the most exciting new voices in African music.
He followed up with another successful project, What Have We Done, which included the chart-topping track Godly. In 2022, he released his debut studio album Boy Alone, a deeply introspective project that explored themes of love, fame, and mental health.
Omah Lay has collaborated with international stars like Justin Bieber on the song Attention and has worked with Nigerian heavyweights including Wizkid, Olamide, and Burna Boy.
