Olamide Gbenga Adedeji aka Baddo
Olamide Gbenga Adedeji, known professionally as Olamide or Olamide Baddo, is a Nigerian rapper, singer, and music executive born on March 15, 1989, in Bariga, Lagos State, Nigeria. He studied Mass Communication at Tai Solarin University of Education.
He gained national fame with the release of Eni Duro in 2010 and solidified his status with his debut album Rapsodi. Olamide is renowned for his lyrical delivery in Yoruba and English, blending street rap with indigenous beats.
In 2012, he founded YBNL Nation, a label that has launched the careers of Fireboy DML, Asake, Lil Kesh, and more. His discography includes acclaimed albums such as YBNL, Street OT, Carpe Diem, and UY Scuti.
Known as the “Voice of the Streets,” Olamide is respected for his consistency, innovation, and impact on Nigerian hip-hop and Afropop culture.
