Oladapo Daniel Oyebanjo, popularly known as D’Banj, is a Nigerian singer, songwriter, entrepreneur, and television personality born on June 9, 1980, in Zaria, Kaduna State, Nigeria. He is a co-founder of Mo’Hits Records and later DB Records.
D’banj achieved massive success with his breakout single “Tongolo” and went on to release iconic hits like “Why Me,” “Fall in Love,” and the global smash “Oliver Twist.” He has worked with international artists including Kanye West and Snoop Dogg, helping bridge the gap between Afrobeat and the global pop scene.
