Innocent Ujah Idibia aka 2baba
Innocent Ujah Idibia, known professionally as 2Baba (formerly 2Face Idibia), is a legendary Nigerian singer, songwriter, record producer, and humanitarian. He was born on September 18, 1975, in Jos, Plateau State, Nigeria, but hails from Benue State.
2Baba gained fame as a member of the now-defunct music group Plantashun Boiz before launching a successful solo career with his debut album “Face 2 Face” in 2004. The album featured the global hit “African Queen,” which helped establish Afrobeats on the international stage.
Renowned for his powerful voice, versatility, and socially conscious lyrics, 2Baba is regarded as one of Africa’s most influential musicians. He is a recipient of several national and international honors and continues to inspire generations of artists across the continent.
