EPL: Guardiola confirms two injury setbacks following Man City’s 2-1 over Wolves
Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola confirmed two injury concerns following his team’s 2-1 Premier League win against Wolves at Molineux.
Wolves took an early lead through Jørgen Strand Larsen, but City responded with a goal from Joško Gvardiol. John Stones then sealed the win for City with a dramatic 95th-minute strike.
In his post-match press conference, Guardiola was asked about Kyle Walker and Kevin De Bruyne’s availability for their upcoming Champions League clash with Sparta Praha. He responded, “I don’t think they’ll be ready. We have a few days of training, but I doubt it.”
The victory saw Man City move into second place in the league, trailing behind leaders Liverpool.
