Governor Mutfwang Responds to Claims of Defection to APC
Plateau State Governor Caleb Mutfwang has debunked rumors of his defection to the All Progressives Congress (APC), calling them baseless fabrications by detractors.
In a statement by his Press Director, Gyang Bere, Mutfwang condemned a doctored image circulating online that falsely depicted him alongside APC governors, allegedly preparing to welcome President Tinubu to Edo State. The governor clarified that the claims aim to create confusion and questioned his unwavering commitment to the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).
Mutfwang reassured Plateau residents of his dedication to serving the state under the PDP, the platform that granted him their mandate. He emphasized ongoing efforts with party stakeholders to address challenges within the North Central Zone, while also highlighting the success of a recent PDP Governors’ Forum hosted in Plateau.
While committed to the PDP’s ideals, Mutfwang pledged to collaborate with the Federal Government for the progress of Plateau State.
