Equatorial Guinea: Judge Reveals Reasons Behind Baltasar’s Release

The former Director General of ANIF has indeed been released from prison. The videos of his encounters with women were not distributed by him. Moreover, he did not force anyone to record the encounters. Additionally, the women were not raped.
Baltasar Engonga was thus acquitted by the supreme court of his country. Despite the dissemination of compromising videos with various women in different places, including his office as the former Director of the National Financial Investigation Agency (ANIF), the man was acquitted by the Equatoguinean supreme court.
According to the court, all the women who had relationships with Baltasar were adults and had given their full consent.
According to the judges, there is no evidence to suggest that they were coerced or influenced in their decisions.
Medical examinations also confirmed that Baltasar did not transmit any sexually transmitted diseases to his partners.
Complaints
One of the light-skinned women whom the former DG of ANIF had relations with in his office and recorded the encounters with his phone, filed a complaint against the man she slept with while she was married.
The woman stated on an Equatoguinean media outlet that she feels very bad and broken, as these videos were not supposed to end up on social media.
She claims that some of their encounters were not recorded with her consent and others were, and that they had been deleted after they watched them together.
