Asake Discusses How Long It Took To Record His New Album (Video)
Nigerian buzzing singer, Ahmed Asake Ololade, popularly known as Asake, has opened up on how long it took for him to record his new album, “Mr. Money With The Vibe.”
In a bid to continue his glorious run, Asake, on September 8th, 2022, released his first studio-album, “Mr. Money With The Vibe” via YBNL/EMPIRE. The album features guest appearances by Grammy-award-winning Nigerian superstar, Burna Boy, and American rapper, Russ, as previously announced.
Speaking with popular media personality Ehiz Dadaboy, who asked how long it took for the street-hop act to record his debut album, Asake made it known that there was no particular timeframe in which to record the project. According to the singer, recording music for him depends on his mood, as he can go months without making music and record up to seven songs in a day when he is in the mood.
He went on to state that his debut album’s recording process was made very easy with the help of the iconic rapper and his label owner, Olamide.
