Bukky Wright Opens Up About Possibility of Remarriage

Veteran Nollywood actress Bukky Wright has spoken publicly about her willingness to remarry, stating that she is open to love again if it aligns with God’s will.
In a recent interview with the BBC, Wright explained that while she is not actively seeking marriage, she would embrace the opportunity if the right person comes along.
“If God has a man who goes to the age of six, I won’t wait until he is five and a half,” she said metaphorically. “If God says he will go to the top of the mountain, he will not stop until he reaches the top of the mountain.”
The actress, known for her decades-long career in Yoruba and English-language films, added, “It’s something I like, but only if God forbids it. I don’t tell women to try it, because I like it.”
Wright also commented on the rise of nudity among Nigerian women, including those in the entertainment industry. She noted that the trend is widespread and not limited to actresses.
“It’s not just actresses exposing themselves. Many women in Nigeria have joined the trend,” she said. “I often ask men, is it because of you that women expose their breasts? And many say they actually prefer women who dress decently.”
