“I wished for a birthday better than last year, but what did I get? The BEST birthday ever!” she wrote. “This year came with so much joy and good news, I can’t even begin to say it all! Was it the ‘hitting my targets and exceeding my expectations?’ Or the overwhelming love and sweetness from y’all? The posts, the prayers, the gifts, the calls, the LOVE! The Ramadan Lecture! And yes, the AMVCA NOMINATIONS and so much more.”

And before you think it’s over, my birthday isn’t officially over o! It’s still my month! So keep voting for LISABI as the BEST INDIGENOUS LANGUAGE. Let’s make history together!”
