FIFA WCQ: Nigeria Defeats Rwanda 2-0, Moves Two Points Behind Benin in Group C
The Super Eagles of Nigeria secured a crucial 2-0 victory over Rwanda in their FIFA World Cup qualifier, closing the gap to just two points behind Benin in Group C.
Playing at the Amahoro Stadium, Nigeria dominated possession and created multiple scoring opportunities, sealing the win with goals from Victor Osimhen. They took a commanding 2-0 lead into halftime and, despite maintaining control in the second half, were unable to add to their tally.
Following this result, Nigeria climbed to fourth place in the group standings, trailing behind South Africa and Benin.
