Beatrice Ekweremadu Released from UK Prison, Returns to Nigeria
Mrs. Beatrice Ekweremadu, wife of Nigeria’s former Deputy Senate President, Senator Ike Ekweremadu, has been released from a UK prison. After serving part of a five-year sentence, Beatrice reportedly returned to Nigeria on Tuesday, January 22, 2025, and is currently in Abuja.
Her release has sparked jubilant celebrations in her hometown, Mpu community in Aninri Local Government Area of Enugu State, where family members and residents are rejoicing over her return.
