Thiago Shared Conversation With Messi About MLS Move
Argentina star Thiago Almada has shared the conversation he had with Lionel Messi about the USA Major League Soccer, MLS.
The 35-year-old has announced that he will join Inter Miami as a free agent upon the expiration of his PSG contract in a few days.
Thiago, who plays in the MLS for Atlanta United, told TyC Sport that the seven-time Ballon d’Or winner has contacted him to know the situation of things in the top flight of American football.
“The other day (Messi) asked me, and I was half behind with that information. He wanted to know what the tournament and the matches were like. I didn’t know much. I was half lazy. Then I’ll find out, I told him.
“I’m happy that Lionel can come to the league. People are crazy about his arrival. They’re going to enjoy it a lot, and they’re going to treat him very well,” he said.
Messi will join his long term rival Cristiano Ronaldo out of European football, bringing an end to their dominance in European football.
Ronaldo left Europe for the Saudi Pro League late last year.
