Lawmaker threatens to expose dirty past of Tinubu if not named Chief of Staff

The race to the office of the Chief of Staff to President Bola Tinubu has taken a new twist with revelation that a prominent federal legislator, said to have been pencilled down for the gate-keeping position, is threatening brimstone if he is not appointed to the position.
Sources close to the legislator confirmed that all plans has been finalised to expose the president should he fail to name him the Chief of Staff, a position he said had been reserved for him more than a year ago.
According to these sources, the legislator did not only mobilise his colleagues in the national assembly to throw their weight behind the former governor of Lagos state to emerge the president, he also invested his war-chest of about N3billion to ensure success of the new president.
” From all indications, the legislator has realised the position is now beyond his reach, given the negative reservations held against him by leaders across geo-political zones. So he is desperate to pull the whole house down if it doesn’t go his way.
He has assembled spin writers to project him as the new Chief of Staff in all the major newspapers, so his choice can be forced down the throat of Mr. President.
You must have seen some of the fake news sponsored in the media. They are calculated to tie the hands of the president to name him to the position.
He has even sent emissaries to some prominent leaders from his geo-political zone, who are advising the president against his selection, to desist or they see his wrath, ” the sources added.
