‘If Peter Obi scores 211 votes in a PU, they will take the 2 and add it to another party,’ says Osuntokun

The Director General Of The Labour Party Presidential Campaign Council, Akin Osuntokun has alleged that the manipulation of the votes Peter Obi recorded in several polling units in the federation started with the removal of the first number of his votes.
He stated that the first number of the Labour Party votes will be removed and added to the other party that probably has the lowest votes in the polling unit.
He argued that the results were manipulated in such manner because the election manipulators couldn’t increase the figures because of the BVAS.
According to him, Mike Igini who’s a former Electoral Commissioner was surprised when he discovered how the BVAS was compromised by some electoral officers in the last election.
He said, ”What happened in many of this cases is that since they could not increase the number of votes that were cast. If 300 people were accredited in a polling unit, they manipulated the highest number of votes in favour of their party. And this is because since it has become impossible to increase the figures.
So what they did is, if Peter Obi scores 211 votes in a polling unit, they will take the 2 and add it to another party that has scored 12. So the party that has scored 12 will have 212 votes. And then Labour Party will be reduced to 11.
As a matter of fact, Mike Igini who is an expert in the BVAS was surprised when he discovered this manipulation. And as I said, Nigerians are experts in distorting things, they sabotaged the BVAS.”
