Gabriel Oche Amanyi, professionally known as Terry G, is a Nigerian singer, songwriter, and record producer born on March 17, 1986, in Benue State, Nigeria. Popularly nicknamed the “Akpako Master,” Terry G became one of the most unconventional and energetic figures in Nigerian music during the late 2000s and early 2010s.
He gained mainstream recognition with his breakout single Free Madness, followed by club anthems like Akpako, Run Mad, So High, and Pass Me Your Love. Known for his eccentric stage presence, dramatic performances, and street-driven sound, Terry G carved a unique lane that blended Afrobeats, dancehall, and electronic influences.
