Terry Alexander Ejeh, known professionally as Terry Apala, is a Nigerian singer, songwriter, and performer. He was born on July 27, 1988, in Lagos State, Nigeria, and hails from Kogi State.
Terry Apala is best known for pioneering the modern fusion of Apala—a traditional Yoruba music genre—with contemporary Afropop and hip-hop elements. He gained national attention in 2017 after his breakout single Champagne Shower, which introduced his unique sound to a wider audience.
In 2018, he released his debut album Apala Hybrid, further establishing himself as a genre-blending artist with a strong cultural identity. Known for his energetic delivery, indigenous influences, and street-conscious themes, Terry Apala has remained a distinct voice in Nigeria’s evolving music landscape.
