Abbey Toyyib Elias aka Skiibii
Abbey Toyyib Elias, professionally known as Skiibii Mayana, is a Nigerian singer, songwriter, and performer born on July 5, 1992, in Surulere, Lagos State, Nigeria. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication from Ekiti State University.
Skiibii started his music journey during his high school days as a rapper before switching to Afrobeat and Afropop. He rose to prominence after signing with Five Star Music in 2014, debuting with “Stay With Me” featuring Kcee. Following a series of successful releases, he exited the label in 2017 and launched his own imprint, More Grace Music World.
He achieved national recognition with chart-topping songs like Sensima, Daz How Star Do, and the smash hit Baddest Boy (Remix) featuring Davido. His collaborative work with artists like Kizz Daniel, Zlatan Ibile, Reekado Banks, and Otega solidified his status as a versatile hitmaker in the Nigerian music scene.
