Adedamola Adefolahan, known professionally as Fireboy DML, is a Nigerian singer and songwriter born on February 5, 1996, in Ogun State, Nigeria. He studied English at Obafemi Awolowo University before signing to YBNL Nation, under the guidance of Olamide.
Fireboy gained recognition with his debut album Laughter, Tears & Goosebumps in 2019, which featured hit songs like Jealous, Vibration, and King. He followed up with Apollo in 2020, showcasing his growth with tracks like Tattoo, Champion, and Eli.
In 2021, his single Peru became a global sensation, especially after a remix featuring Ed Sheeran, which charted in the UK and US.
