Sebastian Veron: Joining Chelsea from Man United Was My Biggest Career Regret
Former Manchester United midfielder Sebastian Veron has revealed that joining Chelsea from the Red Devils was his biggest career regret.
Speaking to the Mirror on Saturday, January 11, 2024, Veron issued a warning to Manchester United players considering leaving the struggling 13th-placed Premier League side.
The Argentine joined United from Lazio in 2001 but moved to Chelsea after two seasons. At Chelsea, Veron struggled to meet expectations before transferring to Inter Milan.
Meanwhile, Chelsea are reportedly monitoring Kobbie Mainoo’s contract situation at Manchester United.
The young midfielder, who is demanding £200,000 in weekly wages, could face limited playing time at Chelsea due to the strong performances of Moises Caicedo and Romeo Lavia in midfield.
