Premier League nominates four managers for Manager of the Month award for January 2024

The managers were shortlisted among the 20 in the league due to their impressive performance for the month in review. Three of the four managers are no strangers to getting nominated for this award.

Who are the nominees for the award?

(1) Mikel Arteta ( Arsenal)

The Arsenal manager got himself a spot in the final four after he led the Gunners to two wins out of two. This result ensured that Arsenal put more pressure on league leaders Liverpool.

(2) Rob Edwards ( Luton Town)

The Luton head coach deserves every recognition that came his way in January. Rob Edwards took his team out of the relegation zone with four points from a possible six. The major highlight for the Hatters was the 4-0 win over Brighton & Hove Albion, their biggest win in the Premier League.

(3) Jurgen Klopp ( Liverpool)

The German international ensured that Liverpool were the only team to play three matches and win all three in January. Liverpool defeated Newcastle, AFC Bournemouth and Chelsea, scoring four goals in each victory to end the month top of the table.

(4) Pep Guardiola ( Manchester City)

The Spaniard completes the list of nominated managers for the award. He led his Manchester City side to victory over Newcastle United and Burnley.
