Nigerian Superstar Burna Boy Seen Courtside at Los Angeles Lakers vs. Cleveland Nuggets Game
The African Gaint was spotted courtside at the Los Angeles Lakers vs Cleveland Nuggets game days after his electrifying performance at the 66th Grammy Awards. The Denver Nuggets beat the Los Angeles Lakers with a 114-106 victory.
Just before the game, the Lakers revealed a towering 19-foot bronze statue of Kobe Bryant outside their downtown arena. The Lakers faced off against Denver donning their Black Mamba alternate uniforms in honor of Kobe Bryant before the crowd erupted into chants of “Kobe! Kobe!” in the closing minutes to rally behind the current Lakers team.
The African giant sent a message to the Super Eagles of Nigeria after its victory in the semi-finals of AFCON. On February 7, 2024, the Super Eagles secured their spot in the finals of the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) 2023 after defeating South Africa. Burna Boy, took to his social media platform to congratulate the Super Eagles on their victory. The musician expressed his excitement at watching the team play the hosts, Ivory Coast on February 11, 2024.
